About Me
If there is one thing that I can tell you about myself, it is that I am terrible at writing paragraphs to sing my own praises. I am a normal person (well, loosely said), with normal goals and a normal life. I am 22 and live in Southern New Jersey. I obviously enjoy everything tech. I also love music. I am in a cover and an original band. I play guitar, drums and bass. I aspire to eventually own my own successfull web startup, but I am still waiting for that grand idea to hit me.
Professionally I am lead web developer for Odd Graphic Company in Fort Washington, PA. I am in charge of front and backend website development and administration. My other responsibilities include; systems administration, server adminstration, graphic design, and many other various tasks.
I have an associates degree in visual communication and have been a web developer for nearly 7 years. I have a passion for photography and puppies. I also love the color blue. I mainly develop for web using Ruby on Rails or PHP. I have a solid understanding of Javascript and AJAX technologies. I am a fully capable flash developer. I am an avid supporter of the “Web 2.0″ movement and strongly agree that web applications need to be easier to use. I also believe that the web should be both functional and beautiful (in that order).
My client list includes Independence Blue Cross, Rutgers University, The United Way, Elsevier Publishing (Gray’s Anatomy), Turner Construction and many others. My experience includes Flash based web and kiosk development, front end web design, back end web development, web banners, corporate branding, brochures and annual reports.
I guess that’s an adequate description of my personal and professional life.
